Former Governor of the State of Osun, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, has stated that the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) newly elected national working committee has the ability to restore the party to its glory days.
Prince Oyinlola, who lost the party’s Deputy National Chairmanship to Ambassador Taofik Arapaja, a former deputy governor of Oyo State, had previously sent Arapaja a private note congratulating him on his victory and wished him a successful tenure.
Arapaja was said to have shown gratitude for the message as well.
Prince Oyinlola, in a general greeting to the new PDP leaders, described the success of the party’s national convention as a good omen for Nigeria and Nigerians, and expressed confidence that the party is in very good hands.
“I thanked the founding fathers, all party leaders, and my followers across the country for their unwavering support and love that they radiated around me throughout the campaign,” he stated.
