The families of slain Amotekun members Mr Abiola Kamorudeen and Mrs Bello Adijat, who were killed in Oyo town, have been promised that justice will be served, and that their entitlements will be paid in full.

The deceased were members of the Oyo State Security Network, codenamed Amotekun, who were serving in Oyo town when they were killed in the line of duty.

Mr Saheed Arowosaye Adeyemi, the Executive Chairman of the local government, revealed this when he paid a condolence visit to the families on Saturday.

While expressing condolences to the deceased’s family, Arowosaye reiterated that the local government would see that justice was served.

While praying for the peaceful repose of their souls, the chairman described the operatives as brave and courageous people whose contributions to the local government area will not be forgotten.

“We are grateful for their bravery, courage, and enormous sacrifices for the good people of Oyo East Local Government Area,” he said.

“I assured the families that they would receive all of their entitlements.”
